How did you get your start in solar? I was recruited by Angelo when he was working on the Elk Grove, CA projects. I was with Swinerton, Sacramento as a Health Care MEP Coordinator. He asked me to come join the team and I am glad he did, it has been a great challenge and experience.

What are three skills or traits that are essential to your job? A passion to build, wanting to be challenged in what I know and can do, striving to be better every time I am involved with anything.

What are some things you shouldn't say at work? We can’t do that.

What was your dream job when you were growing up? I wanted to be an astronaut or fighter pilot.

Have you ever been on TV? Yes, when my unit was being deployed overseas to serve during Desert Storm and when we returned home. We were interviewed by local TV News.

What’s the weirdest or most unique tradition your family has? During Christmas season we like to go out looking at the lights everyone put sup, but before we go we need to hit about 3 drive throughs to get all the coffee, food, and other snacks for the cruise. We call it the “Drive Thru Tour”.

If you were asked to teach a class on any topic, what class would you teach? LEGO, you can do almost anything with it. It’s the best teaching tool for a child in my opinion.

What’s one of your favorite phrases or quotes? Anything from “Top Gun”, “Die Hard”, “The Ref”, and “Christmas Vacation”
